Meet Ms. Lundberg

Ms. Kristin Lundberg is the performing arts/theater teacher at FVMS and is in her 16th year teaching theater in the public schools. She is also a playwright, director, dancer, actress, and served as the Artistic Director of the Shakespeare’s Sister Company, an all-female theater company she founded in 2008 dedicated to producing plays by women.


Originally from Wake County, Ms. Lundberg is a proud graduate of East Carolina University where she holds her B.S. in theater education from the school of theater and dance and Marymount College in London, UK with concentrations in classical acting, voice, and stage combat.  She is an M.F.A. playwright with a concentration in directing new play performance at Hollins University whose plays have been performed in New York City, Virginia, North and South Carolina, as well as internationally in London and Shropshire (UK). 

She is the recipient of SETC's 2020/2021 William E Wilson scholar for theater education and is a member of The Dramatists Guild, American Alliance of Theatre & Education, League of Professional Theater Women, International Thespian Society, Screen Actors Guild, American Federation of Television and Radio Artists and Actors’ Equity Association. 

 

She lives in Holly Springs with her sweet dog, Grace Marie, a retired therapy dog who made her stage debut as Toto in "The Wiz!"  Curtain up!
